WE ARE RECRUITING A
FULL-TIME CHILDCARE EDUCATOR FOR OUR PRESCHOOL
Newbury House childcare aims to develop and maintain strong
partnerships and communication with parents/carers to facilitate
day-to-day caring and early learning needs. To ensure the provision of
a high quality environment to meet the needs of individual children
having an awareness of any disabilities, family cultures and medical
histories.
The position will offer the successful person a wonderful opportunity
to work in a high-quality preschool where children and their welfare
are valued and supported.
DESIRABLE CANDIDATE TO HAVE:
* A minimum childcare qualification of QQI Level 6, level 7/8
desirable
* Garda Vetting / Police Clearance
* Interested in LINC training
* Passionate about providing quality childcare
* Display kindness, warmth, and responsiveness to the needs of
children
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
* Demonstrated ability to work on their own initiative and as part
of a team.
* Demonstrated ability to have positive working relationships with
colleagues, management, parents, and families.
* Willing to work with groups and one-to-one with children.
* Excellent attendance and punctuality
* knowledge of Siolta and Aistear desirable
* Knowledge of the Childcare Act *
* Keeping rooms clean and organised.
HOURS: 9PM – 5PM
PRIMARILY WORKING WITH CHILDREN AGED 2.5 TO 5 YEARS.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: The Childcare Educator position is
a full -time role. Other terms of employment will be set out in the
employee’s fixed term employment contract and include **Apply on the
website** annual leave days pro-rata per annum. The employee will be
bound by Newbury House Policies, including a six-month probationary
period and Performance Management and Review System.
HOURS OF WORK: The post is a full-time position, **Apply on the
website** hours per week, Monday-Friday.
PLACE OF WORK: You will normally be required to work at Newbury House
Preschool based in Mayfield (or alternative temporary location as the
employer determines from time to time).
